IIS8 won't let me download .ZIP

Hello,

I have a new windows 2012 server with IIS, on this website Im running just a family site to share photos.

I made a specific folder to share the photos with. I can share the images by itself, but as soon as I try to create a .ZIP/RAR it wont allow me to download the images.

I also tried other extensions like .exe/.cbr and more but I still dont have access.

I checked the folder rights and everyone has access, I checked the MIME settings and even changed them to application/octet-stream

Im a total IIS noob but maybe someone can help.
