You're not connected to a network

Hi, please bear with me as I have minimal knowledge with IIS. I have a newly built Sophos Safeguard server. Then I have installed its webhelpdesk component which automatically creates a default website called SGNWHD. When trying to test the site by clicking on browse application, i am being prompted with "You're not connected to a network.". I have another website created for Sophos safeguard under the default web site during the primary installation of Sophos safeguard and when testing the site, i am able to browse it on the same server. What can be checked for this issue?
