I’ve got a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard machine running Web Server (IIS 7), also installed VPN with NAT for remote access.
Configuered Windows Firewall to let connections through on port 21. FTP binding is set to external IP.
I’ve managed to get an FTP Server up and running on port 21 all OK with the machine running a single IP Address.
It worked fine and users could connect to the FTP server with FileZilla Client and work with it.
All the above changed once i added a 2nd ip address to the machine (added the extra ip to the existant NIC) now when users try to connect using FileZilla Client it shows:
‘Connection established, waiting for welcome message’ for 20secs then times out
I tried disabling IPv6, turn off the firewall on both sides, nothing worked
Any ideas/help is much appreciated!
