Recently I had to migrate my FTP server from a 2003 IIS6 platform to 2008R2 using IIS 7.5. I found a small issue affecting some of our clients which I cannot figure out.
The clients use software that automatically connects to the FTP server, downloads and executes the file. For larger files such as 15MB, no issues. But when a small file is downloaded, let's say 45KB, the software throws an error even though the file downloaded correctly on their system.
The error thrown says it is stuck at "125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting".
Any suggestions on why this is an issue on FTP7.5 but not FTP6.0? Only small files are causing this issue.
